Birmingham city centre has two fully staffed tourist information centres open seven days a week, including bank holidays. There's the Rotunda Tourism Centre and Ticket Shop, which has a wide selection of literature on the city and is a great place for you to buy tickets for family entertainment, live music, student gigs and other cultural events the city has to offer.
Another helpful place where you can book tickets and see what's going on is The Welcome Centre on the corner of New Street and Corporation Street. Your stay in Birmingham would not be complete without a visit to the Symphony Hall where concerts from the world's best orchestras are often performed.
Our thriving student population has a great choice of brilliant dance bars and live entertainment at some of the city's most recognisable landmarks. The Mailbox, for instance, houses some fantastic piano bars where you can sit and watch the world go by.
Alternatively, you can catch live music at The Custard Factory where The Factory Club has become synonymous with great music, slamming DJ sets and a party atmosphere like nowhere else in the country.
