Birmingham has three brilliant universities: Aston University, Birmingham University and the City of Birmingham University; and our student population has a fantastic range of accommodation to choose from. It doesn't matter if you choose to stay in the halls of residence, private housing offered by the uni itself, or in private accommodation, we're confident that you will feel at home.
If you're thinking of coming to Birmingham - and we hope you will - there's plenty of advice on offer from the University housing faculty. The housing trust at the local council can also help you with any problems. The main thing to decide is where you want to be and what you want from your stay at university.
If you're just paying us a flying visit to check out the local bars, pubs and clubs, then you may want to stay at some of our homely hostels. You could check out Birmingham Backpackers, for instance, where the friendly atmosphere and brightly-painted walls reflect the overall ethos of the establishment.
We have apartments and flats on offer too, with long or short-term contracts up for grabs. Staying Cool has some individual apartments on offer at our much loved and revamped Rotunda building.
There are also sleek and ultra modern rooms available at the NiteNite complex. Comfortable and compact, the contemporary design reflects a thoughtful and efficient approach to hotel management.
