If you've got a night in, the best way to spend it is by planning a day out with some friends. Get a few mates around (preferably the ones that you're going to be going out with) and have a look through leaflets, internet sites and information booklets at what you can do in and around Birmingham.
As the night goes on and the drinks start to flow, ideas seem to get all the more outrageous and you end up suggesting things that you might not normally do. For instance, many people go to watch one of Birmingham's big three football teams Aston Villa, Birmingham City and West Bromwich Albion but how about supporting one of the ladies teams?
Birmingham City Ladies Football team are one such outfit that you might want to go and support. And who knows, you might even be inspired enough to try out for the team!
Instead of going out to the usual bars why not plan a night at a theatre bar? You can enjoy the theatre atmosphere and if you fancy it, book a show. Birmingham has many theatres to choose from, or you can check out one of our comedy clubs.
The Glee Club, The Gag Club and Jongleurs are all top comedy venues and there might be an 'open night' on where amateurs are encouraged to 'have a go' at trying to make people laugh. Get cracking on a script!
