Birmingham has had the privilege of hosting some amazing athletic programmes at its National Indoor Arena and with the Olympics only three years away, we're hoping that some of the Birchfield Harriers - our most famous athletics club - will represent Great Britain at the games. The levels of fitness are fantastically high, making for some of the country's best battles on track and field.
If you're after a more sedate pace then you could try watching one of the many golfing tournaments held at our world famous venue, The Belfry. It has played host to four Ryder Cups and provides a stiff test to the most talented of players.
Birmingham has such a healthy amount of sport on offer that we get many young people studying on sporting graduate programmes held at Birmingham University - so if you're not watching or participating in sport you can study it here too.
