After graduation it can be very tempting to slip back into the open arms of our parents, their warm houses and fully stocked fridges, but after three years of independent living maybe that isn't the answer!
I graduated from Birmingham City University in 2009 and decided to set up home in the wonderful city of Birmingham. Why? Well, it's a little more chilled compared to London and other big cities.
Everyone loves the city centre, and I'm no exception. My favourite part is Brindleyplace. It's really lovely, especially at this time of year with all its pretty lights
I've got a job at BCU's Students Union, and am now one of the four full time execs lucky enough to be elected last year. I'm also hoping to re-run in the upcoming elections.
I'm originally from Wolverhampton, but am keen to stay in Birmingham. I'd definitely choose the city as a place to work and develop my career.
