Graduating blog
If you’re nearing graduation you’re probably mourning the fact that daytime TV will soon be a thing of the past; but we also expect you’ll be thinking something along the lines of… What in the name of Jeremy Kyle do I do next? Well fear not, for this useful page of graduate information and resources should help quash any worries you may have…
If you’ve come to Birmingham to study then hopefully you’ll have enjoyed your time with us so much that you are intending to stay in the region. In fact 60% of students who graduated from Universities within Birmingham stay with us and find their first job here*.
If you’re a born and bred Birmingham (Brummie) student you already know that the region has plenty to offer; that probably factored into why you stayed on here in the first place. For those of you who are returning back to the homeland from studying elsewhere, good choice, welcome back! You’ll probably be surprised at how much Birmingham has evolved since you left and the opportunities this progressive city can offer you.
As part of the workforce and with a wage in your pocket you can really experience all the city has to offer; forget salivating at the windows of those fantastic restaurants you can finally step through their shiny doors. And think of the shopping opportunities! The chic bars! At last you can go out in style!
The advice and resources below can help you plan for your future, a future in a career that you have worked hard for...
