University of Birmingham Chaplaincy...
The Chaplaincy provides a unique space where worshippers and enquirers of all faiths, or none, can meet to get to know each other.
Regular worship, social events and other activities are seen as times to explore our varied traditions and beliefs. These times are valued as ways to deepen mutual understanding and respect.
Selly Oak Chapel
The Selly Oak chapel can be found near the Rendezvous cafe. It is open during the day for quiet prayer and reflection and is occasionally used for meetings and music rehearsals The chapel is available for all students and staff, irrespective of religious faith and background. There is information displayed in the chapel about religious facilities and societies in the university.
St Francis Hall
Situated right beside the Guild of Students, St Francis Hall (SFH) is the hub of the Multi-faith Chaplaincy at the University. It offers a place where students and staff of all faiths can meet for worship and social events. St Francis Hall has two large worship rooms and a small room for quiet prayer or meets, together with a large lounge and kitchen facilities. These can be booked for worship, meetings or other events during the week.
